Issuers on EU regulated markets shall prepare their annual financial reports in a European Single Electronic Format (ESEF) which is part of the Council’s supervision. The published ESEF report is the basis for the Council’s review of the financial reports.
The Council reviews that the ESEF report is prepared in accordance with the ESEF regulation and that the consolidated statements are tagged according to the taxonomy stated in the regulation.
