The Council is authorised to charge reasonable fees from the companies falling within the scope of accounting supervision. Fees charged to companies listed on Nasdaq Stockholm are based on the listed companies’ market capitalisation and are charged as a self-regulation fee in according with previous practice. As from 2019 companies listed on Nordic Growth Market (NGM Equity) also pay an accounting supervision fee based on market capitalisation. All NGM Equity companies currently pay the lowest possible annual amount (SEK 20,000). Companies listed on stock exchanges within the EES but outside of Sweden will be charged a reasonable fee based on the Council’s expenses.
The Council’s budget is approximately SEK 14 million.
