The Council actively participates in the work of ESMA (the European Securities and Markets Authority) within, among others, the Financial Reporting Working Group (FRWG) , Sustainability Reporting Working Group and ESEF Project Team (ESEF PT).

FRWG serves as ESMA’s forum for coordinating measures and interpretation of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and promotes uniform supervision.

SRWG serves as ESMA’s forum for coordinating measures and interpretation of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) and promotes uniform supervision.

The Council also actively participates in other international collaborations and meetings, particularly in Europe and the Nordic region, to promote and develop the Council’s activities.
